I busted once when I was young and then again about a little over a year. I have to say the tour has changed a lot. It's really nice. The food at the restaurant was was good. I really enjoyed the red beans and rice. If you haven't been I definitely recommend going once.
It was interesting to see how Tabasco is made and bottled. The grounds ate beautiful.
This is a great place to spend some time. Here, you will be able to tour the Tabasco factory, hear more of the history behind the brand, and taste new products and recipes. All in all, a great way to spend a few hours doing something really enjoyable. Oh, you can also stop by the factory store before you leave.
My experiences is a of a totally different nature. Though I live by Avery Island and get to see and experience is one of a kind nature on a weekly basis. I tour the waterways as seek out the redfish and catfish. We have a class A Estuary for the growth and reproduction of these two species. If you enjoy fishing I highly recommend leaving from Avery Island dock.
